The steady development of digital printing

 

"Although the overall proportion of the current digital printing is not high, it has already occupied a place in the traditional mainstream printing process." Zhang Jianmin, the Secretary General of the digital and network printing branch of the China printing and equipment industry association, said at the meeting.

Zhang Jianmin believes that, because of the scientific and technological progress of these years, Kodak, HP, KBA and other manufacturers have been working hard, and digital printing has broken through these barriers. At the end of the September 12th American Print13 exhibition, according to the area of the exhibition, the top ten, except KOMORI, had no offset printing equipment. This shows that in the American market, people are very concerned about the digital printing machine.

 

"The hot spot of many printing exhibitions in recent years is the digital printing machine of B2 and B3. In recent years, Kodak, Fuji, and other manufacturers have launched B2 screen format digital printing machine. Although new equipment is springing up, Zhang Jianmin stressed that in the current situation, printing industry had not been suitable for increasing product development in the past. In the future, printing industry, including digital printing companies, needs to invest more in fixed assets and pay more attention to efficiency. "In the future development, the success and failure of the enterprise does not depend on the scale, more depends on the efficiency." Zhang Jianmin said.

 

New technology needs a new business model
